A rhythm worth tracking.
The most recent flagship. Season 17 runs a standard MTV-era competition at the production scale the franchise has settled into, with RuPaul Charles and Michelle Visage anchoring a familiar panel and a fresh modern cast. The workroom-and-runway shape is intact and confident across the run. There is no structural experiment here — and on a settled read that is what places it just below the restructured-premiere season above it: a clean year whose case is execution, not invention.
