Exes in the House

Slot #21 of 27 in the Big Brother Editor's Canon. Twenty-first, the last season whose low placement is really about timing rather than concept. Exes in the House runs a rougher, earlier version of the relationship-twist idea America's Player would attempt with more layers years later, which is why it trails that season by one slot despite being the more historically important of the two. It stays ahead of BB Takeover because a single unrepeatable casting swing, however unevenly executed, beats a season where five different guest-driven twists compete for the same runway. One clear idea, poorly timed, outranks five competing ideas every time.
