Antigua.
A solid Caribbean run that holds its own in the middle of the pack.
A rhythm worth tracking.
Antigua brought the show back to familiar Caribbean territory after Thailand's Southeast Asian detour. The island's sheltered English Harbour and open blue-water passages gave the production a capable visual backdrop, and the crew generated the kind of cross-department friction — deck pressure, interior hierarchy, galley tension — that makes the format work. Charter guests ranged in their demands. Captain Lee navigated his eighth season with the dry authority the show has built its identity around. Reliable Below Deck, competently executed.
The #08 slot.
Slot #08 of 12 in the Below Deck Editor's Canon. The seasons on either side show what I ranked it against.
