Ibiza.
A complete season in a new register — the busiest setting of the run, and the most telling distance from the Ionian origin.
A rhythm worth tracking.
Ibiza's island energy is the loudest setting in the show's five-season run — busier charter guests, shorter sailing passages, a port atmosphere that contrasted with the isolated anchorages of the Sardinian and Menorcan seasons. The format absorbed the change and Captain Glenn held his shape through it. The sailing-yacht's quieter register translated less easily here than on the open Adriatic or Tyrrhenian legs. A functional close to the run, best read with the full five seasons visible behind it.
The #05 slot.
Slot #05 of 5 in the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Editor's Canon. The seasons on either side show what I ranked it against.
