The Italian Riviera is beautiful; the season took longer to find its cast chemistry than the run could comfortably absorb.
02The shape of the season

A rhythm worth tracking.

Season 8 put the franchise on the Italian Riviera — Genoa and the Ligurian coast providing strong visual material. The M/Y Mustique at 180 feet gave charters a large-format yacht profile. Captain Sandy's command held through a cast that took time to find the department-level friction the format runs on. When the dynamics settled, they produced real tension. The season works; it just works harder than the Malta run.
