Dubrovnik.
The season that made the clearest case for what this spinoff could do with the format — and a serious argument for the best Below Deck entry across either franchise.
A rhythm worth tracking.
The high-water mark of Below Deck Mediterranean. Dubrovnik's old city coast — south to the Amalfi — gave the production locations it could use fully, and a cast that generated friction across deck, interior, and galley made the format work at its ceiling. Captain Sandy's command was tested sharply enough that her authority had to be earned in real time. The Adriatic summer paid off at every charter. The season the rest of the run measures itself against.
The #01 slot.
Slot #01 of 5 in the Below Deck Mediterranean Editor's Canon. The seasons on either side show what I ranked it against.
