The Inferno II.
The format finally caught up to its cast.
A rhythm worth tracking.
The tenth season and the franchise's second Inferno. MTV kept the Good Guys versus Bad Asses team split intact and let the returning cast carry the rivalry storytelling — by this point, many of these players had been on multiple seasons together and the show could trade on real history. Jonny Moseley hosts again. One of the most confident outings of the early era. The format had stopped explaining itself and started performing.
The #02 slot.
Slot #02 of 40 in the The Challenge Editor's Canon. The seasons on either side show what I ranked it against.
