The franchise's second vet-and-rookie pairing experiment, with the same structural idea as Fresh Meat I — Challenge veterans choosing fresh athletic talent from outside the cast pool. The pairings sharpen because the format is now familiar, but the season's argument is still the same as its predecessor: how much of The Challenge is the cast continuity, and how much is replaceable. The hour does not quite settle the question.
