The task format is recognizable, but recognizable tasks aren't what this canon rewards; the standard here is the founding era's task design, cast chemistry, and boardroom stakes, and a full reset carries none of the accumulated continuity that made the earlier seasons legible as a single format. It's a real television event and the weakest case in the canon for what The Apprentice does well.
