Season 4.
The first fully unchanged cast in RHOP history lets Season 4 run on chemistry the show has already spent two seasons building.
A rhythm worth tracking.
Season four is RHOP's first season with zero full-time cast turnover — the same six housewives from Season 3 return with nobody new added and nobody gone. Katie Rost reappears briefly as a guest, but the core group carries the twenty-one episodes on established chemistry alone. It's the clearest test yet of whether the format holds up without a new face to reset the group's dynamics.
The #02 slot.
Slot #02 of 10 in the Real Housewives of Potomac Editor's Canon. Season four ranks second because it's where RHOP first proves cast stability pays off. Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Monique Samuels, and Candiace Dillard Bassett return exactly as they left Season 3, with Katie Rost popping back only as a guest. Nobody new arrives to reset the group's dynamics, and the season is stronger for it — old grievances and old alliances both carry over with real weight. Twenty-one episodes is the show's longest order to that point, and the extra runway lets a six-woman cast that's already spent two seasons circling each other finally close the distance. It's the blueprint Season 7 later runs with a bigger roster.
