02The shape of the season
A rhythm worth tracking.
Pandemic production conditions define season eleven before the cast has a chance to. The reduced episode count reflects the constraints, and the limited environment strips out group travel, restaurant scenes, and the full-contact social settings the format depends on. The cast — the same core group as season ten — does what it can, but the underlying architecture isn't there. A season shaped almost entirely by external circumstances, placed last in the canon for exactly that reason.
