The consolidation season. Project Runway came back from its breakout with a bigger cast, a confident production crew, and a judges' table that no longer needed to explain itself. The workroom feels like a workroom; the runway feels like a runway. Sixteen designers gives the editing team more shapes to track across the pre-merge stretch, and the show takes the additional room. A polished follow-up that earns its slot in deep canon.
