Boston brings in Dr. Jessica Griffin, a local psychologist, to replace Rachel DeAlto — the panel's second shakeup in as many years. Schwartz and Roberson return, and the show sets three new couples down in Griffin's home city for sixteen episodes. By Season 6 the format has a rhythm: new city, mostly familiar experts, the same legal-marriage premise running with none of the uncertainty that once made it a risk.

Dr. Jessica Griffin comes in for Rachel DeAlto — the second panel swap in three seasons — and by now the show has a clear machine to it: pick a new city, keep two of three experts, slot in a specialist, run it back. That's not a knock on the execution, which is as competent as ever, but this canon rewards the seasons that still feel like a real risk, and six seasons in, Boston is the one that reads most like routine.
