A rhythm worth tracking.
The hinge season. Season 3 is where Michelle Visage takes the main panel chair beside RuPaul Charles, and the judging settles into the call-and-response rhythm it would keep for years. The cast runs larger and more varied than the Logo openers, and the runway categories sharpen with it. The production is still small, but the editorial instincts are no longer guessing. It is the last formative year before the franchise's middle stretch: panel set, grammar nearly locked.
