The Format Settles.
The series the format clicked into place. The ten-episode length had settled, the technical bench reads fully formed, and the casting class runs deeper than the prior series had managed. The tent stayed at Harptree Court for a second year, and Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood worked a bench that started pulling craft from the room rather than coaching it. Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins are loose, and the editing trusts the tent to do the work.
