A dental student from Maine and the show's first dentist lead takes the calendar, and the producers respond with twelve episodes, dates in Thailand and Fiji, and a casting bench deep enough to fill the longer runway. The locations do cinematic work the mansion never could, and the season carries the travelogue confidence Ali Fedotowsky's run had locked in the year before. A high-confidence hold in the upper-middle — the production scale is real, even when the season's emotional pitch sits a notch below the very top. The kind of season the franchise needed to prove the template could stretch this far.
