The first military Bachelor — a Navy lieutenant and triathlete with a service-first biography the show clearly wanted to foreground. Travel dates run through the Pacific, and the season splits its energy between the mansion and stops the format hadn't visited before. The cast leans earnest, the lead leans even more so, and the result is sincere in a way that plays better in the moment than on rewatch. A respectable bottom-shelf entry that closes the early canon softly.
