Cycle 17 is the show's first full departure from its own format — every contestant is a returning alumna, making the season feel closer to a victory-lap reunion than a competition for working modeling contracts. Greece's coastal settings give the photoshoot legs genuine visual texture. The trade-off is that the stakes feel different when the cast already knows the format and each other. Enjoyable for invested fans of prior cycles; less meaningful as a competition season.
