CBS held the Sunday hour and the production widened its cast count by one — a small structural tweak that the editing room used to open the first two legs into broader team-by-team coverage. The casting goes deep on archetypes the audience already trusts. Phil Keoghan paces a fall outing whose geography is sharper than the years on either side.
