Labrador.
Labrador gives the format a new Canadian biome — colder than Vancouver Island, more coastal than the Arctic interior.
A rhythm worth tracking.
Season nine introduced Labrador as an Alone location — a subarctic coastal wilderness between the temperate Pacific Northwest and the full Arctic interior. The boreal forest and tundra edges of eastern Canada bring their own gear calculus: colder than Vancouver Island, windier and more coastal than the Northwest Territories interior, with shorter summer nights and a demanding food environment. Ten survivalists navigated the location without any prior Alone template to reference. A solid new-biome entry in the Colby era.
The #09 slot.
Slot #09 of 12 in the Alone Editor's Canon. The seasons on either side show what I ranked it against.
